Greetings!
My name is Jennifer Sauer. I am a twenty-something writer, seamstress, reader, teacher, dreamer.
I have been sewing for as long as I can remember, sewing by hand for years, making dolls from socks, scraps, and a variety of other materials. Then my mom taught me to use a sewing machine and read a pattern and the rest is history.
My passion is costumes. I'm the girl who squeals when a gorgeous dress comes on screen and will take points off a movie rating because I hated the costumes. Any costume I like will be picked apart while I try to figure out how to recreate it with the patterns I own.
I love to mix and match patterns to create exactly what I want. Don't like the sleeves on the pattern I'm using? That's okay, I like the sleeves on this other pattern. As long as I have a pattern that at least sort of looks like I want, I have no limits.
